I have very little acne of my chest. I went to the dermotologist and he recomended an exfoliator and a cream which is titled differin which is .3% adapalene gel. So ive begun useing dove mositurizing exfoliation and this cream... and the acne got worse!!! are there any home remedies to make it go away besides toothpaste?? thanks!!

ok so i have acne on my back and chest and i really would like it gone before summer. does anyone know what foods i should avoid? or what foods i should eat to heal and prevent it? also is ther any creams, medication (not to harsh), remedies that i can use?? thx xox

I am 15 and have had it since i was 10 but i would love to get rid of it, i recently tried out proactive in it didn't really work for me. i also have tried a liquid hand soap that worked better for me it was antibacterial soap so do you think the cause of my acne is bacteria also what products do you suggest? My mom thinks it due to my salt intake but recently i have cut way back and i still have my acne any ideas tips or pointers? THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!

My daughter is almost five months old and ever since she was born she's had baby acne. Just a few little zits that go away and new ones spring up elsewhere. It's not because she's unclean (she's bathed every other day) and it's not because she's washed too much and her skin is getting irritated (I've tried spreading out the baths and also giving her one everyday to see if it would help), but they just won't go away! I know they can't feel good, and I don't want her accidentally scratching one and scarring herself. How can I get rid of it? I said something to her pediatrician about it, but she ignored it. She's not allergic to any of the soaps because it's only on her little face (only cheeks and chin, really). If she were allergic, she would react everywhere. It shows not as just redness, but pustules (whiteheads).

popping acne will create acne scars and I definitly know that by expirience. but when I have a pimple and I leave it alone I dont touch it at all, the scar is a lot worse than if I would of popped it??? its so weird its like wtf? If I do pick it, there will be a scar, but not as bad as if i leave it alone? is it possible that you can get acne scars even if you dont pick the acne?

i hate acne. i hate everything about acne. it seems just when you are starting to settle the acne down, it comes back 2 times worse. i have just cleared my acne for the most part, but now i have these scars. i really want to clear these up, i know i asked this before, but it would really help if anyone has some remedies, products anything to help get rid of those suckers? oh, and how to use/make those products would be great info too. thanks!

I have always had acne and ive got really bad discoloration now and scars on my face, arms, chest, and upper back =/ Ive tried alot of things but nothing really seems to help make them go away or become less noticeable. Through searching, I've learned about cornstarch and baby powder clearing up acne. Does it really work? And if so, how long do you leave cornstarch or baby powder on for? (I use an acne treatment at night so I cannot leave it on overnight) Also, what kind of baby powder/cornstarch?

I am taking green tea extract 500 mg twice a day and drinking 4 cups of green tea a day to help acne. I also take 3 ALA supplements a day too. will I be okay if I add 2 50mg zinc supplements and vitamin e also? I'm hoping that this will stop breakouts and clear it up.

I have bad cystic acne on my face where my beard should be. It started when my facial hair started growing in around 17 and it has been from getting bad to semi-better and then bad again for 2 years now. I've tried everything from prescriptions, home remedies, over the counter, pro active, murad...... basically everything except accutane. I'm wondering if anybody knows of anything that worked for them with this type of acne. I'm leaning towards the accutane because I am absolutely sick of the pain, embarrassment, dryness, and wasted money associated with this acne. Any suggestions?

I have cystic acne and large pores. my derm prescribed me BenzaClin which doesnt seem to be helping. Is there any other medicine over the counter or prescription that is made for cystic acne that will help clear it up. i have suffereed for years and nothing really seems to work.

I am well informed on acne and what it is etc.. but I was wondering why I still get so many regular outbreaks? I eat healthy, I exercise, I cleanse and moisturize with good acne-specific products twice a day and my skin isn't that oily... so what else could be causing these regular occurrences? I am a high-stress person but I do not think stress alone could be causing this or could it? Any insight/advice is appreciated.
